Crafting Conversations have been awarded a National Lottery Grant!

The team at Crafting Conversations are proud to announce that the C.I.C has been awarded a Community Fund Grant of £20,000. This grant will make a massive difference to the people who attend our group. The money is for art and craft workshops, keep fit sessions, drumming workshops, cookery lessons, health and well-being days, chair yoga and much, much more. We have been running the group for two years providing a safe space and activities for our members and the wider community and now we can provide people with experiences that are usually out of reach due to socioeconomic factors. The supportive environment at the group and dedication of our volunteer team shines out at every session we run. Now we can reach more people and provide wide and varied experiences to our members. Our co-production model means that members are fully involved in deciding what workshops they want to do and what will benefit their lives.

New Choir Venue

We are pleased to announce our new choir venue. In September we will be rehearsing at The Shires, a retirement living community located in Moseley. When our previous venue, The Billesley Pub closed down our choir was left with nowhere to rehearse. Thankfully so many local businesses contacted us to offer us a place and after looking round The Shires we accepted manager Stuarts very kind offer of a space in their Village Hall. The choir can't wait for summer break to be over so we can start September in a new community. Crafting Voices choir is open to all adults and we believe the new venue will make it even more accessible than before.
Choir meets each Monday from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm at The Shires, 218 Wake Green Road, B13 9PQ. Our September dates are: Monday 7th choir, Monday 14th choir, Monday 21st Music Group and Monday 28th choir.
On Tuesday 22nd choir will be held at Cambridge Road Methodist Church from 12.30 pm - 2.30 pm with a free lunch included served from 11.45 am.
